New Life Bible Church

On Sunday, September 9, New Life Bible Church will begin. Pastor John Lutz and his wife Shawn have been faithfully serving the Lord in ministry for almost 25 years. They planted our church in 2001, and I was priviliged to serve with John at Harvest Bible Church from September 2005 through March of this year. John & Shawn are burdened for the Dallas/Ft. Worth area which contains 5 million people. Will you please pray that their church would see the blessings of God in years to come, and that this Sunday would be the beginning of a church used to build His Kingdom? Walters Family Vacation 2007

We took some time to get away and recover from busy months of summer and prepare for the busy months ahead. We were able to enjoy some time in the Virginia Beach area (thanks to the generosity of my sister and brother-in-law--as of September 8). We took in some educational activities (Virginia Beach Aquarium & ESPN); some recreational activities (Go Carting & ESPN); and some physical activities (Biking on the Boardwalk & ESPN).

It was one of the best vacations we have ever had. Thankful that God provided for us this time for our family. Below are some pictures from our time:

For some of you wondering why the lack of posts...we moved recently to a different house. The move caused no small amount of anxiety as we were without email/internet for almost 5 weeks. We finally are back online, however only temporarily. We have to send off the computer to HP due motherboard problems. So, we will post some now, and then again once we receive the computer back. We plan to surf the entire world wide web before we send ofF the computer...Oh the joys of technology!!

Friday night Paton went to Grandma Walters' house for her birthday. Of course she ended up giving him a present (a cash register) on her birthday. Happy Birthday Grandma!

A Golden Night

Since this is the site for the Walters' Family News...here is a huge headline. Paton ate his first Happy Meal last night. We had a teen activity that began with "dinner" at the Golden Arches. I must admit that it was a proud moment for me as dad to see my son take the plunge into the fast food world. The tradition continues.
