Visit to Grandma Walters

Friday night Paton went to Grandma Walters' house for her birthday. Of course she ended up giving him a present (a cash register) on her birthday. Happy Birthday Grandma!

A Golden Night

Since this is the site for the Walters' Family News...here is a huge headline. Paton ate his first Happy Meal last night. We had a teen activity that began with "dinner" at the Golden Arches. I must admit that it was a proud moment for me as dad to see my son take the plunge into the fast food world. The tradition continues.

Please be in prayer regarding the situation at Bob Jones University. A gay/lesbian/bisexual/ transgender advocacy group called Soulforce Equality Ridersintends intends to visit Bob Jones University’s campus April 4. Dr. Jones has some information available at this link. We need to pray earnestly.

Anniversary Celebration

We went to a Bed & Breakfast last week to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary (we never really celebrated in December). We had never done the B&B thing before, but really enjoyed it.
